GMS Dashboard Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GMS Agency ("GMS", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the GMS Agency dashboard (the "Service") — a content-analytics dashboard that lets our agency clients view performance data from their own social media accounts.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: the name, email address, and login credentials you use to access your dashboard.
- Connected social account data: when you authorise a social media account (such as Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube), we access analytics and metrics made available through that platform's official API — for example follower counts, views, reach, engagement, and post/video performance statistics, along with basic profile information for the connected account.
- Access tokens: the authorisation tokens that allow us to retrieve your analytics from each connected platform.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect solely to:
- Display your social media performance data and analytics within your dashboard;
- Authenticate you and maintain your account;
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Communicate with you about your account and our services.
We do not use your connected-account data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing your dashboard.
3. How Data Is Stored and Protected
Access tokens are stored encrypted. Data is stored on secured infrastructure and access is restricted to authorised GMS Agency personnel who need it to operate the Service. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
4. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your connected-account data to third parties. We do not share it except as described in this policy.
5. Sharing of Information
We only share information where necessary to operate the Service — for example with infrastructure and hosting providers that store data on our behalf, or where required by law. The social media platforms you connect are the source of your analytics data and process it under their own privacy policies.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you disconnect a social account, we stop retrieving new data from it and delete its stored access tokens. You may request deletion of your account data at any time.
7. Your Rights and Choices
- You can disconnect any connected social account at any time;
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data;
- You can revoke our access to a platform directly from that platform's settings.
8. Third-Party Platforms
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Instagram (Meta), TikTok, and YouTube (Google). Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies, and we access their data only through their official APIs and the permissions you grant.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
